Porcelain Houses takes the viewer on a journey into the progression of the KNK Arts style through ceramics. This sculpture in-the-round shows five distinct layers for each progression with intricate details relating to the period.
Kayla Kessel is a Charlotte-based artist that has been playing and creating in clay for over 10 years. Her current focus is exploring her roots through ceramics and introducing new people into the world of clay. She is currently an instructor and studio admin at Village Studio and Gallery.
