BOOM 2024 will be the 7th time the annual arts festival touches down in Charlotte. The festival will take place at Camp North End (300 Camp Rd, Charlotte, NC 28206) for 3 days in the Spring. Save the dates of April 26–28 for BOOM.
When at BOOM you can expect a multifaceted and immersive art experience. There will be an eclectic mix of dance, music, theatre, poetry, visual art, film, and more. At BOOM you can go from ticketed indoor intimate and edgy performances to free outdoor family-friendly performances.
BOOM consists of two distinct parts: BOOM Fringe and BOOM Intersection:
BOOM allows for the freedom to flow between Fringe and Intersection easily. The goal is to encourage people to explore the arts in a single walkable setting.
BOOM was started by a group of Charlotte artists in 2016. The BOOM festival quickly grew into one of the largest, most diverse, multidisciplinary creative gatherings in Charlotte. Featuring all mediums from chalk art to classical music, from aerial dance to slam poetry, it became the unique coming together of the whole creative ecosystem of Charlotte.
