It’s an exposure of the consumerism that is affecting all of us. The project asks for a reflection of our consumerism not just of material things, but persons, relationships, goals and that insatiable search to obtain the same without really knowing when enough is enough and basing our happiness, success on everything we have and not on what we are.
Carolina is passionate and has dedicated her life to different forms of art. She started dancing when she was 6 years old. During and after college she performed with different companies in Costa Rica, El Salvador and Charlotte (USA). Her choreography life started in college and she felt that calling since then. She has presented her work at the National Theatre in Costa Rica and El Salvador, including other theaters and outdoor venues. In 2022, she won a Choreography Residency Project by Kinetic Works in Charlotte and created “It’s never enough.” Also in the same year she started to choreograph for Baran Dance Company in Charlotte.
