“Let’s Party: Conversation Style” is a modern dance concept based on the layers that make up elements of a party. They are often underneath the noise. The conversations that go on internally or externally contribute to the party and its participants. They ensure the party goers enjoy themselves, work things out, get out and be free, and find a strong sense of themselves.
Wingspan Dance is unique because Artistic Director Sarah Barnard lives out of state in Madison, WI and this part of Wingspan Dance is active in Charlotte. There is another part of Wingspan Dance that is in Madison, WI where she lives. Wingspan’s work is based on life and we work to be authentic with our decisions and intentions. We have a varied age group of adults from 20s to 50s. Wingspan Dance brings a fusion of dance styles together. It is mainly modern based with ballet, jazz, and belly dance notes. Our work is heavily collaborative and strives to give adults a place to dance.
