Vito Dito 
Vito Dito plays “Songs of the Tao Te Ching,” all 81 poems over 3.5 hours. During the performance, audience members can do whatever they want: listen, sit, dance, clap, stand, or read the copies of the Tao Te Ching that will be available. For hundreds of years, seekers and the curious have turned to the Tao Te Ching for practical advice on how to live in harmony with Nature and for the universal message: all things are connected.
Vito Di Bona (aka Vito Dito) is from Durham and Person County. They are a singer-songwriter and have played in Durham area clubs and sidewalks for 30+ years. They feel we all need to deepen our connection with Nature and as part of their own attempts, put the 81 short poems by Lao Tzu to song and now perform Songs of the Tao Te Ching when they can. They live with their wife and two kids in Durham and for now, make a living as an environmental public health analyst. They also make and sell acorn cookies and tensegrity sculptures.
