BIO

I am an Odissi dancer as well as an academic functioning in two careers of solo performance and higher education. Odissi is an eastern Indian traditional art form. My work lies in community-engaged research where I find meaning in creating new ways of communication drawing from culturally situated aesthetic labor. I prefer to work across interdisciplinary contexts finding ways to democratize my art form through technology, design-thinking, and computational philology.
