“The Floor Echoes” is an immersive ballroom and voguing experience that brings to life the rich narratives of under-represented communities, particularly Black, Latinx, and queer identities. Through dynamic performances and personal storytelling, this powerful showcase highlights the resilience and strength found within these communities while exploring themes of identity, empowerment, and belonging. Audiences can expect a captivating blend of artistry and emotion, celebrating the vibrant tapestry of diverse experiences.
The Carolina Chapter of The Artistic Haus of Telfar is dedicated to supporting and uplifting the LGBTQIA+ community through education, art, and activism within the Kiki Ballroom Scene. Since our start on December 24, 2022, we have inspired audiences by performing at notable venues such as The Mint Museum Uptown, The Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture, and The Columbia Museum of Art.
