“Ori’s Glass Thread” is a repertoire of three short dance works, examining the human spirit, our delicate nature and the common threads that unite us. Directed and choreographed by Sarah Todd Emery, Ori’s Glass Thread combines modern ballet with visual art installation and projections from both Atlanta (Benjamin Guidry) and Charlotte (2016 Charlotte ArtPop Street Gallery) artists, as well as a new work featuring Charlotte’s Open Door Studio’s pre-professionals.

As an artist and a human being, Sarah battles ego and the protective personality daily. These works aim to invoke her desire to live each moment with authenticity, honoring the unique and brilliant light that leads each of us from within.

In addition to skillful modern ballet, blended with accomplished works by local and Atlanta visual artists, expect your senses to be sparked, your heart to be moved and your soul to be stirred!

• Founded in 2017 by former Charlotte dance professional, Sarah Todd Emery, Watershed Dance Theatre serves as a platform for performances, festivals, film and creative projects in modern ballet. Located in the Atlanta metro area, Watershed engages and educates by igniting the senses and fostering unique experiences through thought-provoking, contemporary dance theatre works.
