BOOM Performance:
S.T.E.A.M./Amina Heckstall-Soumah – “AbunDance:” Dance

“AbunDANCE” is a healing journey through dance and drum. The audience will not only witness an exciting West African dundun dance, a routine featuring younger dancers, and songs, but also narrative spoken word that harps on the need to believe to receive, and be in the gratitude attitude mode. The group will teach positive affirmations, songs, and offer sound healing in a performance meant to leave audiences feeling more appreciative of their blessings, as well as on a natural high!

BIO

S.T.E.A.M. (Soul Transforming Energy And Movement) was created by master spiritual life coach and professional African dancer, Amina Heckstall-Soumah and uses ancient African traditional dance and drumming, as well as hand mudras, and mantras to not just entertain but elevate audiences energetically. The group is known as edu-tainers due to encouragement of the use of various techniques during performances/ workshops. Spoken word is also a part of instilling uplifting mantras and affirmations into the minds of all who participate.
