Sinergismo’s ‘Unicorn in the Forest’ is a haunting yet magical tale of a man who, fed up with modern life, decides to leave everything behind for a simpler existence in the forest. During his journey, he encounters fantastical creatures including trees that come to life and a snaggle-toothed unicorn who grants the man one wish which will change his life forever.
Sinergismo, a multi-disciplinary collaborative performance art ensemble, was founded in 2002 by sculptor Jon Rajkovich and dancers Gretchen Jax and Jacki McCarthy. The ensemble consistently uses humor, absurdity, playfulness, and contradictions to explore various themes. Over the last 17 years, Sinergismo has grown to include over a dozen working artists and has produced more than 20 productions.
