“The Journey” is a visual performance highlighting our Dance Mentor, the late Mama Kadiatou Conte’s, experience of leaving her country of Guinea, West Africa and traveling to America where she would learn how to read, write, drive, create her own dance company and receive her citizenship.
SHAE Movement African Arts is dedicated to Sharing the Energy of Africa through Movement. Our mission is to share and celebrate West African dance, drum, song and tradition with the local community and beyond.
