Please put your hands together and welcome Opera Carolina’s Academy Chorus to the stage!.
Opera Carolina’s Academy Chorus is comprised of regional 3rd-7th graders and is under the musical direction of McKenzie Coleman. Our youngest musical family establishes foundational music knowledge and vocal techniques, explores music and language from opera and world cultures, and helps emerging musicians hone life skills and find their voice through serious practice made fun. When not performing on the opera stage, the Academy Chorus shares their voices through community performances.
