A Showcase of RESISTANCE in ANCESTRAL Unity

I am a ballet dancer who combines Latin/Mexican rhythms to tell a story on stage. My mission has been to break cultural borders through dance as a Mexican-American loving my roots combining classical ballet with Folkloric/Spanish sounds as a unique style. Taking advantage of my Mexican/Irish Heritage has given me an opportunity to express my roots creating a bridge within my ballet dance to tell the story of Hispanic Revolutionary Women. I have the honor to perform “Juana Gallo, A Soldadera in the Mexican Revolution” and” Migration is Beautiful,” representing migration through dance as a Monarch butterfly.
