Exploring themes of emotional struggle, resilience, and the complexity of human experience: Law reflects on the tension between joy and despair, seeking meaning in the way emotions manifest, particularly through smiles and laughter. Law dives deep to unravel the emotional complexities behind his own need to smile and laugh. Searching for healing, for understanding the passion or drive that keeps him going despite the overwhelming tension between joy and pain through spoken word performance.
A Fayetteville native, Law Bullock has performed live for thirteen years including slams, plays, showcases, features and festivals. A member of Black on Black Rhyme Carolina, Law founded MUGwithUs in 2021, started NC SPOKEN in 2023 to spotlight poets in North Carolina and has self published several poetry projects focusing on social issues, mental health, identity and faith. Lastly, Law believes that art is the bridge that connects generations.
