Knight Foundation 
Knight Foundation is a national foundation with strong local roots. We invest in journalism, in the arts, and in the success of cities where brothers John S. and James L. Knight once published newspapers. Our goal is to foster informed and engaged communities, which we believe are essential for a healthy democracy.
The inaugural Celebrate Charlotte Arts, an initiative of the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, will open for applications on April 27, 2019. It offers a share of up to $200,000 for ideas by and for residents of Charlotte that showcase artistic excellence and capture the spirit of the city. Join KnightFoundation’s Priya Sircar and Jayne Butler for a presentation about Celebrate Charlotte Arts, as well as tips and information on applying. They will also answer any questions you may have.
On April 28, 2019, join KnightFoundation’s Priya Sircar and Jayne Butler for an open house style drop-in at 2:30-3:30pm to talk about Celebrate Charlotte Arts and get your questions answered. Open to all.
