Emily Little
This installation is a collaboration of several Charlotte artists, each reflecting their unique styles and personal backgrounds to create this rendition of A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte by Georges Seurat, but instead, through their Charlottean perspectives, becomes A Sunday Afternoon in Charlotte.
Emily Little is a CLT artist and activist in her community, who organizes art markets free for CLT artists and small businesses to participate in, as well as community betterment projects through CLT Growth. She believes Charlotte is a safe haven for culture and arts, and it’s a Charlottean’s duty to keep it that way, and only make it better.
