Xriss-Xross (ReXross) is an exploration of grief through the Black experience. Xriss-Xross will ask you to lament your loss with us as inspired by the classic urban film ‘Poetic Justice’. How is grief different for those in the Black community and how does our art help us in the process?
Charlotte Cultural Collective is a Charlotte dance troupe founded by director Lorraine Crittendon in 2018. C3 is a fusion dance troupe that platforms Black Femme stories in their ‘Blends’ series where they effortlessly combine dances of the Black diaspora into a fun and meaningful piece. C3’s ‘creatives’ represent the diversity of the Black experience and ask their audience to ‘come catch a vibe’ as they perform their Season 6 repertoire ‘Xriss-Xross’ (ReXross).
