Sometimes psychedelic, sometimes spooky and cinematic, sometimes punk, sometimes jazzy, sometimes all in the same song.
Dinner Rabbits represents a place to try ideas that may not fit anywhere else. A project without boundaries.
Dinner Rabbits originally formed somewhat casually in 2010 as the songwriting experiment of roommates John Harrell, Thomas Sizemore, and Zach Jordan. Dinner Rabbits’ official lineup was completed in 2013, when they enlisted Derrick Hines on drums. Since then, Dinner Rabbits have performed the music of spaghetti western composer Ennio Morricone (complete with video projections and ponchos), recorded a debut album ‘Vashuay’ (released April 20, 2018, by Spooky Cozy Collective) and played regularly around the region. Most members play in other bands (John and Zach in Hectorina, and Derrick in Bless These Sounds Under The City).
